Established in Vancouver, Canada in 1994 by Robert Sendoh, one of the initial directors of ISPA.

All levels of ISPA certificates, from beginner to instructor, are available in English and Japanese.

Permanent schools in Vancouver and Noto, Japan, with charter boat courses in Croatia, Tahiti, Scandinavia, and other locations around the world.

He has worked as a Montessori instructor and developed the ISPA Young Mariner Program, which promotes seamanship education for young people.

His hobbies include yacht cruising, skydiving, mountain climbing, skiing, snowboarding, skating, and many other outdoor sports activities.

He also has a background in computer programming (network cryptography) and system design.
